Review - Burt's Bees Citrus Facial Scrub (and *mini* night routine)

First and foremost,
Why on earth I want to post this? Because I cannot find a proper Review about this product, especially in Indonesia. So yeah, here we go. Review for Citrus Facial Scrub by Burt's Bees.

Meanwhile, Burt's Bees is an American Brand. They are a skin care line, famous for their Lip Care Product (e.g Beeswax Lipbalm), you can go here for Burt's Bees Official Website.
Anyway, as you know that I am a youtube fanboy. No, not literally a fanboy but I do have some specific interest related to Youtube Beauty Gurus. I always (yes I said always) try to buy and search for the products they're using.
For example, this baby, Burt's Bees Citrus Facial Scrub. I saw this product on one of Kandee Johnson's video about Night Routine. Kandee somehow presented it so well, I trusted her! :D
She mentioned about scrub that she's using almost everyday. She claimed that it's so soft and not harsh to be used on a daily basis. So, when comes the time I have an opportunity to order this from US (and give it to my friend whilst he's back there), I bought this on Amazon and have it immediately when my friend is back.


They have a very simple packaging. They don't provide us super cute and colorful box. They provide us just a yellow box with a very brief description about what Burt's Bees Citrus Facial Scrub is, they tell us about how to use it, and also a very believable ingredients list with a huge impact of: 99,96% Natural. Now the question is: Is this baby working like they claimed?

A granular and fragrant scrubs (like a pumpkin spice pie or cinnamon!).

 Yeah so, after we saw how it looks like, let's try this one on! Since they claimed they are safe enough to be used as daily basis, I do use it as daily basis. Well, not that daily, but I use it around 2-3 times a week. This is me, I just got home from work with a bunch of junk in my face :D

 Now, I splash my face with water and use a small amount of Burt's Bees Citrus Facial Scrub (I'll call it CFS now, just my own abbreviation). Yes, it looks very harsh, but trust me, it's not. It's like using literally Pumpkin Pie Crust on your face, it feels harsh at the first time, then melted once it contacts water. So, as you can see, this is just the beginning.

1. splash your face with water, add CFS

2. Scrubs it slowly, no need to do it harshly

When you are scrubbing your face (and massaging it maybe), you will smell a very sweet pumpkin pie, or cinnamon. I don't quite sure. haha. But for me, it's quite pleasing.  Also, once you rinsed it off, it will leave your skin soft and super smooth. I swear by this product that your skin will appear brighter, your tone is more even, and your pores appear smaller! Just remember, DON'T SCRUB AROUND EYE AND LIP AREA. But ssstt, I do. I mean, when I scrub my face, I love to add more splash of water to make it more slippery and gooey. Then, I could use the gooey part to massage and clean my eyelid :D It works very well for any waterproof makeup.

3. rinse it off, pat it dry and tada!

Previously I try to find this stuff here in Indonesia, but somewhat I couldn't find it. Until I decided to order on Amazon and send it to my friend. But lately, I found an OL Shop that open PO and have the stocks ready here in Indonesia. I am just not quite sure that I can trust them, so I won't put any information about that for now.

Since I mentioned on title that this will be a night routine post as well, I'd never be boring to let you know that I use my SK-II Facial Treatment Essence after cleansing my face.  Get 2 or 3 drops on your palm and pat it gently on your face and neck. Sigh.. Almost finished product

After using my FTE (another abbreviation :P) I sometimes using The Body Shop Beautifying Oil as my night cream. I am not a big fan of Night Cream. So honestly I am never really searching a very good night cream for me hahha. But trust me, the dry oil (TBS Beautifying Oil) really makes my skin plumps in the next morning. I should do a separate review for that.

So, yeah, that's my post about the Burt's Bees Citrus Facial Scrub. I hope this one helps! :D

Review: Pasjel Everbright Blue Body Cream is here baby! (UPDATED)

Just a really quick post. I just received my Pasjel Everbright Blue from sista julykittyy (her Line account). Do you know what I was doing first? I checked the authenticity of the product. Sigh, they said there are so many fake products from China distributed. And I am pretty sure I got the authentic product, I read the seller and she has a good feedback I guess.

I've been using pastel for a whole week. Shame on me I don't have any before picture. Well let's make this one-week picture as a future before picture.

These are my legs. On the let side, I used Pasjel Blue, and the right side, I didn't. You can see pretty much differentiation between those legs. Yes, indeed Pasjel makes my skin appears brighter, yet still acceptable and not fake at all. I love that!

Those last two pictures are my feet and my arms using Pasjel Everbright Blue Body cream for 9 days. 

I'm not going to say that it works really well. Just for you to notice, my skin had different tone, previously between the inner arm and the outer arm because I got tan from hanging out on the beach around 2 months ago. (Oh my hands look awkward here. Sigh..). But now, it's the same tone, so it improves very well on me. It doesn't make my skin brightens very well but definitely equalize it! :D Also, my hands don't have that much different with my legs. Which is mean, this cream is working!

And I'm pretty happy with it :D

For now this is my review:

(+) Do brighten my skin, even out my skin tone (this is a huge point for me)

(+) Cute packaging, ice cream look-alike

(-) Expensive, sigh.. I got this one 300K rupiahs for only 100 ml. (I think this will last a month or so)

(-) I don't like how it smells. Too much for me.

Review: SK II - Facial Treatment Essence and Facial Treatment Clear Lotion (UPDATE)

I Miss you and it's been so long, I haven't written anything for a while. As usual, I am so busy.
However, I was trying to keep my skin healthy by trying this and that. By this moment I am arriving at some different level of skin care. Why? Because of this:

So, I bet you guys all have heard about the SK - II. Especially the Facial Treatment Essence, or well people will call it "Miracle water" or "Holy water" (yeah right).
I was never ever in my whole life thinking about trying this product, because this is way too expensive, jeez it's hurting your wallet!

Anyway, I found a good online shop to buy a sample size of this baby on Indonesia, check on this: http://www.yessishop.com/
They provide us a sample size of expensive-branded product such as SK-II, Shu Uemura, Clinique, Shiseido and things like that.
After found this website me and my sister were trying to buy a sample of SK - II. So we bought the Facial Treatment Essence (serum), Facial Treatment Clear lotion (toner), the Cellumination Deep Surge (moisturizer), and the Whitening Source Derm - Brightener (moisturizer) all in tiny sizes.

My sister tried it first with the both moisturizer without trying any Pitera Set (The Facial Treatment Essence and Facial Treatment Clear Lotion), and whoa she really looks good. Before, her skin was troubled with sort of bumpy face, redness, and somehow looked like acnes, but it's not (I really don't know what it called). Her skin started to brighten up and the harsh texture on her skin started to melt down gradually in four days. YES, YOU ARE NOT MISREAD IT. It's FOUR DAYS. (Sorry with the caps lock, I looked angry haha).

Anyway, I saw her skin and decided to try the products. Even more, I was buying the FTE (my abbreviation of Facial Treatment Essence) and the FT Clear Lotion. They said it is a perfect match, so I bought two of those babies.
This is how I use those things:
1. I clean my face up with my fav facial wash (either the Kose Softymo Speedy Cleansing Oil, or my recent fav the Herb 365 Acerola by Face Shop).
2. I remove the dirts and soap excess with FT Clear Lotion with a cotton pad
3. I pat on the FTE on my bare hand without any cotton pad used (yea, it's too expensive to be left on a cotton pad. LOL) about 2-3 drops.
4. I apply the Cellumination Deep Surge on a day or apply the Whitening Source Derm Brightener on a night time. ( I don't know which on is right, but I decided to apply the Cellumination Deep Surge on a day time because its texture is lighter).
5. On a day time, I add Skinfood Golden Kiwi Sun Screen SPF 50.

This is my before picture. I had blemishes on my cheeks. I also had a discoloration on my nose. This was literally me on bare face :D
 I put only Marcks' Venus Translucent Powder and EOS Lipbalm.

I took this about 3 months ago.
My Skintype is a normal one. Pretty sensitive. If I was using wrong product, it'll be greasy and sticky, even though in a normal time, it's not oily.

June 2013

This is me, few days back. As you can see, i now have bangs. (NO, Using SK II doesn't produce bangs. hahaha). Anyway, SK II definitely define my skin even more. It feels so smooth. The redness on my cheeks are disappeared. Discolorations on my nose are gone. I won't say that SK II will fit you, but at least this is what I got from those babies. I didn't use any of BB Cream or foundation, it's just a translucent powder and here I am still using the EOS Lipbalm (Strawberry).

That's FTE for bigger size, it cost about 200K Rupiahs and lasts for about 2 months.
Honestly, the Fullsize is as expensive as hell! But totally worth it. So, now SK - II the main things for my skin regime. I also tried to stop using it to see whether I'm addicted to it or not. And it doesn't produce any blemishes, redness, nothing. So I think when people said if you are stop using SK-II it will damage your skin and make that even more dull, it's because you are attached to that particular skincare, and the fact that your skin is not as good as when you are using it, is pretty much sum up, why people hate to love SK-II. Like one of my friend said, "Once you are hooked to the red box, there's no turning back".

I've been using SK-II for eh…. 6 months?
I have so many improvements. Here's what I look like nowadays :D (Please don't mind the guy behind me, I took these yesterday at office :D)

As you all can see, my face is now glowing (I almost cry during this time I write LOL). I don't have any discoloration on my nose, I don't have any blemishes (like all the time, even when it's on my period)! I don't have redness except for my own cheek natural blush. And one big update is, I only use SK-II Facial Treatment Essence. Yes, I don't need to buy all of those (extremely) expensive Stuffs! I found my perfect regime :)
So, this all back to you, I hope you found your perfect baby. I believe that once we found it, we won't even face redness or acnes prone issues on our skin!

Review: Surkran Under-eye Golden Masker

I'm gonna give you all the second review for today. And after talked about foods, let's back to skin care.

Surkran Golden Eye Mask

I got the Surkran Under-eye Golden Mask for free from my order at my fave OL shop. I had abandoned this stuff for quite long time. Then, few days ago, I had tried it on (finally).

First, I think it's not a quite well-known brand. I've seen it before, but I had never found any review about this golden mask before. So, I took the risk to use this product.

Here's the picture for the product. It's a small package anyway. Contained 2 mask for each of your eye. With jelly-like texture, I guessed this is a soft mask. After I cleansed my face, I put this baby down right under my eye. My suggestion is put it on the refrigerator first for better relaxation. I don't exactly know how many times it should be there under my eyes. But, like every mask I've ever using, I'd made it for 10-15 minutes.

So, the golden mask is literally gold! It contains glittery things that I guess make your under-eye skin looked bright.


Maybe you'll wonder, how we put this on our skin? Here's the pic of me (LOL) using the golden eye mask.

(Darn, I looked fat LOL :D) Anyway, after 10-15 minutes of using this mask. I released this mask and felt that my under eye skin looks very bright and golden (seriously). No more panda eyes. So, I was happy with the result untill......

I felt the itchy thing arround my cheek (since the mask almost covered my cheek). So, I took a mirror then really shocked with that I've found! I found that my cheek had been starting to produce a blemish. Also, pimples and lot of small bumps. I barely cried. So, I washed my face with luke warm water to recover the blemishes, pimples, and small bumps. And then, I was going to sleep. But, berofe I went to sleep, I put an Apple AC theraphy Sleeping pack from Baviphat since I knew it will reduce my skin troubles.


And THANK GOD, It was disappear in the next morning. Don't believe it? Believe it!Still don't belive it? Try on...hehehehe...



So, here's my quick review:

Review: Baviphat Apple AC Theraphy Sleeping Pack

Hi all!

Today, I'm gonna give my review about something that you might often see. It's review for Baviphat Apple AC Theraphy Sleeping Pack. One thing for sure, I always give review only when I already use the product for atleast a week. Even, in this review, I already used this product for about 4-5 months. So, I really hope this review reliable.

This is it! The best of Baviphat product I've ever known. I heard so many good things about this product. Even before I tried it. The Apple Theraphy Sleeping Pack. By its name, you can notice that this is a night cream. Maybe, it's not really important for teenager to use a night cream. But since I already 22, I recommend this for 20 yrs above only.

Because teenager's skin is still very young and pure. No need too much skin care product.

So, here's the picture:

There are two size types. The jumbo and the mini one. I strongly recommended you to try on the mini one first. You never know what your skin will react. So, it's better to try with the mini one, instead of buy the jumbo. You could get either the mini or the jumbo at your fav online shop.

Still, Baviphat fruit series have a really cute packaging. I used the mini package to replace my contact lense's box. LOL :D. Okay, now we're move on the content. The smells of this product is sooo daaammmnnn gooooddd. The sweet apple is really making yourself relax (since it's a cream you use before go to bed). Not any night cream has this wonderful scents. The texture is sticky yet easy to spread.

Okay, I will explain how we use this stuff:
1. Clean your face first (no cream can work with dirty skin)
2. Spread this apple stuff on your skin
3. Relax with the scents
4. Go to sleep
5. Important: Wash off your face in the morning with luke warm water.

Why the "5" is important? Because it's a sleeping mask, you MUST wash off a mask :D. This apple theraphy will reduce your acnes, pimples, blemishes and help your skin rejuvenating. I try it for myself, and Im gonna say this is a very good product. It really makes your skin moist in the morning, feel so good to touch, and reduce your blemishes. And I believe, the prevention when using night cream is better than removing permanent wrinkle.

Also, the product contains a very natural ingredients. What else can we expect?hohoho. :D

So, here's my quick review:
1. Use this as night cream since it's a sleeping pack
2. Clean your face first!
3. Do not apply too much
4. Don't forget to rinse in the morning with warm luke water
5. This product didn't make any breakouts (LOVE this <3 <3)
6. Happy touching your new fantastic skin

Another review for Baviphat product!

As you know, Baviphat has many products. There are BB Cream, Cleansing, Body lotion, Hair Care and more. And now, I wanna give review about one of Baviphat deep cleansing cream. It called Baviphat Acerola Deep Cleansing Cream. It's a deep cleansing cream that reduce and clean your face after your rough activity (too much. LOL :D). But before, I wanna share about how important to use deep cleansing cream atleast once a week. I found that today's, the air and pollutant seem too much to handle by your skin. It clogs our pores, in addition, we clog our pores even more with our make up products. So it's really important to deeply clean the pores to make sure our skin can breathe well.

The clog pores will deliver us to acnes, pimples, blackheads and more. So, I highly recommend you to clean your face everyday, and deep-cleansing atleast once a week.

Now, I will review the deep cleansing cream products from Baviphat.
You can see the pict on the right side. It's kinda pinky, reddish, fruity-label on its package. Kinda girly huh? Anyway, if you see it from further distance, it looks like an ice cream package. Yumm! The Acerola (I might prefer call it red cherry, it's easier! LOL) has vit C 32 times more than an orange. It surely makes our skin younger, I guess.

The texture is thick and sticky. But still spread easily on your skin. How we use this?
1. Clean and dry your face (you can skip this step if you wish)
2. Use a proper amount of this cream on your face (don't neglect your neck ;) )
3. Rub and Massage gently (first usage will lead you to kinda peeling result, avoid eye and mouth area)
4. Rinse thoroughly
5. Dry your face, apply a toner and your moisturizer if you like.
6. Do every week for better result.

After I used this product, I found that this is might proper for normal to dry skin only. Because after we used this product, it really oily and slippery in your face. It's really moisturizing. By that, I conclude that I love this product very much.

Review: Baviphat Peach All-in-One Waterful Cream (English Post)

Hi all!

I want to give a review about Baviphat product Peach All-in-One Waterful Cream. I'm using this cream about few months. So, I hope this review reliable and useful.  :D

So, here we go...

Here's the pict:

What an adorable package :D. We all knew that Baviphat really famous with their packaging. This Peach all-in-one is one of the fruit series. Anyway, Im still a lil' bit confusing with the function of this cream. Many reviewers told met that this is a day cream, what makes me confuse is the "Star and moon" icon in the package (Still wondering). But then, I decided to make it a day cream (since I've never heard this as Sleeping Pack Series from Baviphat.

Okay, then, the price is about Rp. 118 K. For me, Baviphat is one of the korean cosmetics brand that very affordable among The Skinfood or BRTC or Etude House. But, chill out, even it's cheap, the quality is reliable. But, for one whom wanna try this products (from Indonesia), it's better for you to join the PO from your trusted OL shop, because this product a bit rare, there are just some of the OL shops provide this product on their in-stock product.

For someone whom have already bought Baviphat, it's not odd to found that Baviphat really concern in their hygiene. So, after the 'peachy' thing opened, you'll find another white cap. In this picture, you can see a lil bulge (LOL). It's actually a place where you put the lil spoon (for me the spoon is useless), but then because I've used it for few motnhs, the spoon was disappear, maybe I'll updload the spoon pic later.

Peach All-in-One Waterful Cream, from its name, I imagined a creamy texture and sticky. Very moistful and must be hard to spread on your skin. But then, after I bought this, the texture is more like gel.

And my thought about how hard this 'gel' to spread is also wrong. With its texture, this peach is light and easy to spread on your skin.

Smells so good and relaxing. It smells like real fruit, sweet, and yummy. Like a sweet ripe peach.

After few months, I decided to like this product very much. This product works well on my normal to dry skin type. But in my humble opinion, for dry skin, this is not really moisturizing. I thought this is not even a problem to an oily skin, I guess it wont make your skin greasy. One more thing, this stuff really do make my skin brighter. The effect is not straight like BB cream, but really make my skin bright and reduce black spots in long term using.Im'm using this product right before my BB cream.The conclusion, I definitely will buy more for this product.
